Forgiveness for DUMMIES

I have several dummies series in my library, all of which would have gathered dust, if not for my wonderful cleaner.
Excel 2007 for Dummies.
Yoga for Dummies.
Twitter for Dummies.

They were all gifts from my husband in 2010. Now I wonder if he was trying to suggest something.

Coming back to the title – my favourite thing about this series is the title – I have always found it clever and very thoughtful.
A book written and simplified for a specific niche market: “The dummies”.
I always imagined all the dummies when they saw the title, nodding their heads & thinking, “Yes, that’s the book for me.”.
Or, in my case, a loved one thinking of me when he saw the book.

Anyway, the reason I am sharing this with you today is NOT because you are dumb. On the contrary, you’re someone who I think is super smart and truly have the potential to be one of the few who will be able to crack this problem.

Forgiveness is a problem we all face at different points in our lives and few have cracked it.
One of the reasons I want you to crack this problem is because I really want you to attract miracles in your life.
Like ‘A Course in Miracles’ says: You can either have a miracle or a grievance, you can’t have both.

I hope this helps you on your forgiveness journey & in attracting great miracles.

Ever wondered what forgiveness is? How do I forgive and when will I know for sure that I have forgiven? Well, the answers to these three questions have helped me and many of my clients and I have a feeling this is going to help you too.

What is forgiveness?
The best definition I have heard for this word is the below.

Forgiveness is the fragrance the violet sheds on the heel that has crushed it.

How do I forgive?

History tells us that over 2000 years on a Friday, the holiest man that ever walked on our planet was mocked, tortured & crucified on the cross in a hill on Calvary.
The people who crucified him thought they were powerful but little did they know that he could have stopped it at any time. However, he chose to die to save the world & fulfil the purpose he came here for.

Remember you’re here for a purpose too,

So how do I forgive?
Do what Jesus did.
Look up to the skies and say,
“Father, forgive them for they know not what they do.”
#Jesus Christ

How do I know I have forgiven that person for their a***hole move?

Every Sunday night, my niece who lives in New York and I ( I live in London ) share the messages we heard at church.
She had a great one last week & I knew I had to share with you.

We both go to Hillsong Church.

But coming back to how you know if you have forgiven someone.
