I heard this speech several years ago but it stuck with me.
It was by Jim Carrey.
Jim Carrey’s father could have been a great comedian but never followed that path because he didn’t believe that was possible for him  and chose the conservative path, taking up a safe job as an accountant.
He said, when he was a young boy, he used to see his dad work very hard on a job he didn’t like.
When Jim Carrey was 12 years old, his dad was let go from that safe job.
Jim Carrey learnt an important lesson that day from his dad.
That you can fail at what you don’t want, so you might as well take a chance at doing what you love.
Why am I sharing this with you? I had 3 reasons.
1. I thought this may inspire you too.

2. In life, we are all bound to face failure at some point.
And when we fail, we can learn from our failures or let it define us.

We get to choose, so choose wisely.
3. Remember this always: you have a dream, put in your heart, that is unique to you and that could help others.
It will take a lot of work, persistence and guts to go for that dream and make it happen. But I truly believe, in the end, you will be happy that you didn’t give up on your dreams.
Stay happy, blessed and please never stop believing in your dreams,.
