To be honest, I’m not sure how I came upon this prayer but I do know that it’s from ‘A Course in Miracles’.
Before I see a client, there is a 15-30 minute time frame where I am praying and meditating.
Then I say the below prayer just before I start a session.
I am here only to be truly helpful.
I am here to represent Him Who sent me.
I do not have to worry about what to say or what to do,
because He Who sent me will direct me.
I am content to be wherever He wishes, knowing He goes there with me.
I will be healed as I let Him teach me to heal.

I say this prayer twice for some reason and it has never failed me.
The first time, I say the prayer out loud.
The second time, I really feel it in my body and imagine God stepping in & me handing the session to him.
After that, what happens in a session is always magical.
My focus completely shifts to how I can serve my client.
