WHAT DATA IS COLLECTED :

Your name and email address is collected when you sign up for the newsletter via the website or if you have requested to be manually added and stored on the Aweber platform.

• Aweber stores and processes your email address, email preferences and name if you provide it.

WHY IS YOUR DATA COLLECTED

The intention of collecting data (your name and email) is so that we can keep in touch and provide value through our newsletters. Email subscribers are also the first to receive information regarding any new changes to the website or new launches and offers available

HOW IS YOUR DATA USED?

As stated above, the only data collected is your name and email address when you subscribe to the newsletter via the opt-in or unless requested by yourself.

This data is used to communicate with you and provide value through the newsletters.

Data is also used to respond to client / subscriber inquiries, questions, and/or other requests. If the user decides to opt-in to our mailing list, they will receive emails and also receive, updates, related product or service information.

If at any time the User would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email.

If you wish to click on unsubscribe then you will not be contacted by us again, unless you request it personally. Data is used to also send invoices and process payments via Paypal

No credit card or bank details are provided to our website.

As a result of our concern with your privacy protection, we have put in place a policy to protect information provided by you to us. Your Information will not be used for any other purpose than otherwise already stated. We take security measures to protect your personal information in storage. We shall make reasonable efforts to prevent access by unauthorized persons to the customer Information, such efforts to reflect at least the same degree of security that the Company accords its own confidential information. We shall ensure that any outside consultant retained by us is made aware of and is bound by this.

Security

All payment details which are entered through Paypal are secured and safe while auctioning any transaction and Indu Alexander is not be liable for any failure by the third party making payment to properly protect data from being seen on their screen by other persons, during the online payment process.

Who are our data processors?

We use a number of services to handle and process user data. These are considered data processors:

• Aweber is the email list provider service we use to send out the newsletters. Aweber stores and processes your email address, email preferences and name, if you provide it.

• Google, specifically Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to assess how users find and then use our website so that we can improve our service.
• Paypal, all payments are processed via Paypal. Indu Alexander does not store or see debit or credit card information. We never request, see, store credit card information.

FURTHER INFORMATION

Currently we do not use cookies on my website, we only use Google analytics to improve the marketing campaign. However in anticipation of using cookies at some stage in the future we would like to relay the following information;

Most website operators, collect non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Our intention or purpose in collecting any non-personally identifying information is to better understand how our visitors use our website so that we can better meet user needs and expectations.

We would hope to regularly look at internal reports on what people are reading on our website so we know what is popular, where people find out about our website (known as the referral source) and how people then use the website once they arrive. From time to time, we may release non-personally-identifying information in aggregate, for example by publishing a report on trends in the usage of our website.

A cookie is a string of information that a website stores on a visitor’s computer, and that the visitor’s browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns. We attempt to collect explicit consent to place a cookie on your computer.

We hope to use cookies on the website in the future to:

• Deploy the use of pop ups using a service to make it easier for website visitors to subscribe to our emails.

If you interact with our website and services further we will collect more information from you, but only with your consent.

We store your email address when you opt-in to receive our newsletters and also track which of our emails you open and what links you click in our emails. The data is securely stored on our behalf by Aweber (please see Aweber privacy document link already provided)
