I was thinking that owning a beach house is 9 out of 10 people’s dream. I just made up the number but you know what I mean – having the sea as your backyard is a pretty popular dream.
It got me thinking of who was the first person who decided to build a home by the ocean. I’m guessing someone who had the dream and held it close. Someone who took action & didn’t give up when things didn’t go as planned and also ended up inspiring millions of others to have a similar dream.
What does all this have to do with you? Well, I do have a point.
Every week, I always end my email by telling you to never stop believing in your dreams.
Today, however, I felt guided to tell you that along with believing in your dreams, you also need to do this:
1.Take action daily. Small, strategic steps on a consistent basis is one of the keys to success.
Remember the 1000 mile journey starts with the first step.
2. Don’t give up when things get hard or when they go wrong. Learn from your mistakes, instead of getting bogged down by it.
3. Nothing is do or die.
If a dream does not work out, remember the sun will rise again tomorrow and you get another chance to dream again. That’s the beauty of life.
What I do know for sure is that the dream has been put in you, not to punish you, but to show you that you can make it happen.
And I can’t wait for the day when your dream does come true – just the idea of it makes me very happy and excited.
As always, so grateful for you and your time.
Stay happy, blessed and never stop believing in your dreams.
Leaving you with one of my favourite quotes and a very apt image. ?
